Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations across multiple retail stores. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, supporting the Receiving Supervisor in freight scheduling based on customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication and team-building skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extended hours during peak

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment).
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and staging of products.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and communicate repairs to management.
• Ensure warehouse safety programs comply with OSHA regulations.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
• Complete activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection and stored properly.
• Oversee inventory rotation within the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
