Job summary

HMTX Industries in Rincon, GA is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to lead the warehouse team, ensure safe and efficient inventory movement, and support daily operations. You will oversee staffing, training, and process improvements while partnering with management to meet customer needs.

The role requires LEAN experience, strong supervisory skills, forklift safety training, and knowledge of WMS. A Bachelor’s in a related field and APICS/Lean cert are preferred; competitive benefits are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering; Logistics/Supply Chain focus preferred.
• APICS or Lean Manufacturing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop warehouse employees and staffing agency team members; coordinate daily assignments and workflow.
• Monitor staffing levels and allocate resources to meet operational demands and minimize waste.
• Oversee receiving, picking, shipping, inventory control, and priority orders for efficient flow.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operators trained to safely operate forklifts and machinery.
• Promote a safe working environment; ensure compliance with safety procedures and respond to incidents.
• Support inventory accuracy; assist with cycle counts and proper inventory control procedures.
• Identify and troubleshoot challenges; implement process improvements for consistency and efficiency.
• Partner with warehouse and office teams to address customer concerns and root causes.
• Provide feedback and conduct performance evaluations; handle disciplinary matters per policy.
• Prepare, analyze, and present operational data and reports to leadership.
