Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Inc. in Houston seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily manpower planning and cost containment within a multi-customer facility.

You will supervise up to seven full-time employees and temporary staff, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficient workflows. The role requires an AA or equivalent, a high school diploma, 3–5 years in a distribution center with a logistics company, forklift certification, and experience with WMS and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (AA) from a two-year college or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years’ experience in a distribution center with an international 3PL; prior team lead and training experience.
• Two to three years of team lead experience in a warehouse/distribution center preferred.
• Prior TSA Screening Supervisor experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of warehouse tools and equipment; forklift certification required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, inventory control, and domestic transportation documentation.
• Industry-related courses are a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Head one or more programs at the facility (maintenance, equipment, sanitation, or safety).
• Track and forward issues related to assets including equipment, IT, and infrastructure.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Plan shop floor layout and manage inventory movements using RF scanners and WMS.
• Oversee inventory control activities including cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Supervise up to seven full-time employees and additional temporary staff.
• Support recruitment and interview process for new hires; manage disciplinary actions.
