Job summary

Eastern Metal Supply is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a team, and ensure accurate shipping, receiving and inventory control. The role emphasizes safety, performance coaching, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

The supervisor will set and monitor KPIs, conduct staff evaluations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Assign and monitor work to ensure accuracy, speed and deadlines.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse staff for high performance.
• Establish KPIs to track productivity, quality and service levels.
• Maintain accurate inventory via cycle counts and replenishment.
• Manage supplies to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
• Promote safety and ensure OSHA compliance; conduct safety meetings.
• Provide feedback and support staff development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
