Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager in Reno, NV to lead our Lean manufacturing journey. You will develop solutions to optimize material flow, reduce waste, and drive accountability via the Learn-Do-Teach model and Kaizen events.

You will promote a culture of continuous improvement, lean and quality, implementing Eaton Lean Six Sigma strategies across the plant and partnering with the corporate CI leader to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; engineering background preferred.
• Experience applying Lean tools (5S, Standard Work, Set Up Reduction, VSM, TPM, Lean Material Flow) in manufacturing.
• Direct or indirect leadership experience in manufacturing; experience leading Kaizen events.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operational Excellence (OPEX) vision and roadmaps for Reno, NV facility.
• Drive lean tools deployment, problem solving, and daily accountability; support EBS adherence.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and 5S; guide teams in waste reduction and value stream mapping.
• Build ELSS/CI capability and training across the site; ensure safe, efficient operations.
