Job summary

Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to join the Reno, NV facility. You will lead lean manufacturing initiatives, developing solutions to optimize material flow and reduce waste, while mentoring staff on Lean principles.

You will drive OPEX strategies, deploy 5S and Kaizen events, and collaborate with leadership to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years applying Lean tools (5S, Standard Work, Set Up Reduction, VSM, TPM, Lean Material Flow) in manufacturing.
• Direct or indirect leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience leading Kaizen events using Toyota Production System principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead lean manufacturing journey and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop solutions to optimize material flow, minimize waste, and implement accountability systems.
• Educate and mentor employees on Lean principles and techniques.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, lead 5S, and drive Value Stream Mapping with future state vision.
