Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager for its City of Industry, California site. You will drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, quality, and on-time delivery while reducing cost and waste.

Responsible for leading cross-functional factory improvements, standardizing processes, training operators, and applying Lean Six Sigma tools to achieve productivity gains and cost reductions. Collaboration with plant leadership and teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment with lean and rapid improvement experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, engineering or business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and on-time delivery while reducing cost and waste.
• Lead cross-functional teams on shop floor improvements, potentially including CAPEX.
• Standardize processes, document for repeatability, and train operators.
