Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in City of Industry, CA, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead lean manufacturing initiatives across our HFS operations. You will drive efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery while reducing waste and cost.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, conducting Kaizen events, training operators, and deploying standardized processes. A Bachelor’s degree and US work authorization are required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing work environment with lean techniques.
• Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, preferred in Engineering or Business; US work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Manage lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Lead cross-functional shop floor improvement projects, which could include CAPEX.
• Standardize processes and document for repeatability; train and certify operators.
• Analyze Profit and Loss statements to identify cost reduction and margin opportunities.
• Drive Kaizen events and sustain improvements with follow-through support.
