Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Florence, KY, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead (DC Operations) to guide Lean thinking across our DC network, collaborating with OE analysts, DC managers, and senior leaders to deliver measurable improvements.

You will lead and execute projects, develop cross-functional relationships, and apply data-driven methods to remove waste, improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years in continuous improvement, data analysis, and/or project management, with Lean/Six Sigma exposure preferred.
• Experience in field operations within an industrial distribution business is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and align key metrics to drive world-class performance across DCs.
• Lead projects and manage analytic resources to meet goals and track progress daily/weekly/monthly.
• Analyze transactional data to identify improvement opportunities and root causes.
• Coach OE Analysts and empower teams with guidance and accountability.
• Influence site and regional leaders to sustain improvements and standardize results.
• Communicate progress and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide thought leadership on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost improvements.
