Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead for DC Operations to guide Lean thinking across supply chain operations. You will influence OE analysts and DC Managers, lead and execute improvement projects, and drive change through data analysis and collaboration.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3–5 years in CI/data analysis or PM, and strong cross-functional leadership to empower associates and achieve world-class performance across multiple DCs.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years in continuous improvement, data analysis, and/or project management; Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
• Field operations experience in an industrial distribution setting preferred.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Align key metrics with site and regional leaders to drive world-class performance.
• Manage projects and analytical resources; implement progress tracking systems.
• Analyze transactional data to identify root causes and opportunities for improvement.
• Coach OE Analysts and focus resources on outcome-driven projects.
• Lead site and regional teams to achieve consistent results across locations.
• Communicate project progress and results to senior management.
• Provide thought leadership on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost improvements.
