Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an OpEx Lean Technician for on-site work in Michigan. You will drive lean transformations, coach hourly operators, and support rapid improvement events to improve cycle times and process efficiency.

Responsibilities include leading 5S deployments, updating visual performance tools, and ensuring safety while fostering a culture of OpEx. On-site role with daily collaboration across teams and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Associates degree preferred with manufacturing experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach hourly operators and other employees on lean tools and processes.
• Support Rapid Improvement Events with cross-functional teams.
• Lead 5S visual workplace across value stream and ensure safety.
• Conduct cycle time analyses and line balance improvements.
• Identify and remove obstacles to process flow.
• Assist in implementing standard work and coaching leaders.
