MetFab Engineering, Inc. is seeking a full-time Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the manufacturing site’s lean program, delivering safety, quality, and productivity gains. You will standardize processes, reduce waste, and mentor teams across Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.

The ideal candidate will apply Kaizen, SMED, and 8D methodologies while building problem-solving capabilities on the shop floor and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, or continuous improvement leadership.
• Hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, or contract manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and influence people from shop floor to leadership.

Responsabilités

• Own the continuous improvement roadmap and prioritize projects by safety, customer impact, and financial benefit.
• Plan and lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and 5S initiatives from start to sustainment.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste, variation, and lead time.
• Lead root-cause analyses and ensure corrective actions are effective.
• Develop, implement, and audit standardized work instructions and process controls.
• Build KPI dashboards and report performance with production teams.
