Job summary

Generous Brands, based in Bakersfield, CA, seeks a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to drive lean initiatives across manufacturing operations. This role requires hands-on problem solving on the shop floor, data-driven analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain to deliver measurable improvements.

You will apply Lean Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, and structured problem-solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SPC, Excel, Minitab).
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead CI initiatives planning, coordination, and execution of continuous improvement activities.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
• Gather and analyze process data and present findings.
• Coordinate CI projects and maintain documentation.
• Develop visual management tools and KPI tracking.
• Lead SOP development and 5S/TPM implementations.
• Coach employees in Lean tools and CI principles.
