Job summary

L’Oréal Florence, KY Manufacturing is seeking a Manager, Performance Improvement to lead the site’s continuous improvement program. You will drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, partner with operations, maintenance, and quality teams, and coach team members to reach targeted cost, quality, delivery, and safety goals.

This role manages the site workshop, including CNC machines and 3D printers, and leads cross‑functional project teams applying data‑driven problem‑solving to improve equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, operations management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Black Belt/Master Black Belt experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong technical and analytical skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with troubleshooting equipment, continuous improvement, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety.
• Develop and deliver formal/informal Six Sigma/lean training materials for staff.
• Lead cross‑functional teams using Six Sigma/lean tools on CI projects.
• Identify opportunities to reduce non‑value-added activities and set project goals.
• Manage site workshop activities and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams.
• Drive data management and reporting to track plant performance and improvements.
