Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corp is seeking Lean and Quality LDA candidates for a two-year rotation program designed to develop supervision, team leadership, and management skills. The role focuses on championing Lean initiatives at the plant, organizing teams for value stream mapping and waste elimination, and supporting decision‑making processes.

Program includes mentorship from peers across divisions nationwide. Relocation is likely; geographic flexibility is required during the program, and onsite work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus in Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Working knowledge of lean concepts and demonstrated application.
  • Relevant experience gained through internship or co-op opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; project management experience preferred.
  • Must be willing and able to relocate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide Lean initiatives within the Plant and coordinate with plant management on lean projects.
  • Develop and implement Lean Strategy plant-wide and train associates in lean principles.
  • Ensure committees and teams implement Lean practices per Corporate requirements.
  • Provide change management and lead the WIN strategy implementation.
  • Educate employees in Lean and promote a Continuous Learning environment.
  • Use value stream management to develop master plans to meet Lean goals.
  • Assess quality performance using Sig-Sigma and Green Belt tools.
  • Develop quality systems, inspection plans, and quality plans for proposals.
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers for quality improvements and audits.
  • Prepare data-driven reports and conduct training sessions on quality control.
