Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Reconditioning Manager to oversee daily operations in an Inspection Center. You will lead a team of leads and up to 70 front-line associates in a lean environment, driving continuous improvement while meeting quality, production, and cost objectives.

You will mentor staff, manage training and certification, and ensure safety and performance standards are met. This on-site role requires strong leadership and hands-on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience leading and developing associates.
• Proven ability to achieve project deliverables and company metrics.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching, leadership development and training.
• Participate in development and execution of strategic plans aligned with company goals.
• Ensure adherence to standards, policies and performance metrics.
• Create a work environment that fosters communication, teamwork and Carvana values.
• Recruit, orient, and train supervisory staff and ensures certification and progression paths.
• Lead competency-based training and provide feedback to leads and associates.
