Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Reconditioning Manager to oversee daily operations in a Carvana Inspection Center. You will direct 5 leads and up to 70 front-line associates in a lean manufacturing environment, driving continuous improvement and meeting quality, production, and cost objectives.

The role requires 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to develop associates while aligning with Carvana’s values.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean principles and process optimization.
• Proven ability to deliver projects and metrics.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching and training.
• Participate in the development and execution of strategic plans and objectives.
• Ensure adherence to operating standards, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Create a work environment that supports positive communication and team cohesion.
• Recruit, orient, and train supervisory staff and leads.
