Job summary

Screenco Manufacturing Ltd. seeks a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily operations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and drive Lean initiatives on the shop floor. You will develop a high-performing team, manage schedules, and continuously improve productivity.

You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Shipping to remove bottlenecks, coach staff, and uphold a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical or post-secondary education is a plus.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams is essential.
• Lean Manufacturing experience (5S, Kaizen, standard work) preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet schedules and attainment targets.
• Ensure labour and resources align with production requirements.
• Monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and take corrective action.
• Coach and develop employees on performance, quality, and safety.
• Lead daily production meetings with clear communication of schedules and goals.
• Drive Lean practices to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Improve workflow, labour utilization, and overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Materials, Shipping to remove bottlenecks.
• Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and downtime.
• Support training and cross-training of staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and high-performing production environment.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
