Job summary

JMJ PHILLIP seeks a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met while driving continuous improvement in processes and people development.

This leadership role focuses on optimizing production schedules, coaching supervisors, and promoting a culture of accountability and collaboration to deliver customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing or production management.
• Strong leadership experience managing production teams.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and production planning.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
• Develop and execute production schedules to meet demand and goals.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and personnel.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support training and development.
• Promote a safe and positive work environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
• Implement Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to drive improvements.
• Support best-practice adoption across operations.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Partner with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Promote workplace safety and root cause analysis for concerns.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Ops teams.
