Job summary

Screenco Manufacturing Ltd. in Dallas, TX is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily production operations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time scheduling.

You will develop a high-performing team, drive Lean practices (5S, Kaizen, standard work), monitor KPIs, remove bottlenecks, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Shipping to improve productivity and overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience managing production schedules and driving performance.
• Hands-on Lean Manufacturing experience: 5S, Kaizen, standard work, continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and team development skills.
• Experience using production KPIs to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, production documentation, and safety procedures.
• High school diploma or GED; technical or post-secondary education is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to achieve schedules and attainment targets.
• Ensure labour and resources align with production requirements and priorities.
• Monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and take corrective action.
• Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable for performance, quality, and safety.
• Lead daily production meetings and communicate schedules and expectations.
• Drive Lean practices including 5S, Kaizen, standard work, and waste reduction.
• Improve productivity, workflow, labour utilization, and overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Materials, Shipping to remove bottlenecks.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues and downtime.
• Support employee training and development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, high-performing environment.
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
