Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer Intern to support operational excellence initiatives in our Green Bay, WI facilities. You will analyze processes, identify waste and bottlenecks, and help implement solutions that boost quality, efficiency, and productivity.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, collect and interpret data, and contribute to Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen projects while developing documentation and

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating and mapping current processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support process optimization and productivity initiatives.
Participate in continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and sustain process enhancements.
Develop and maintain project documentation, process maps, standard work, and performance metrics.
