Job summary
Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, troubleshoot production challenges, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.
The internship emphasizes hands-on learning in quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity, with exposure to data collection, analysis, and documentation of engineering
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical, industrial, or related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required.
- Experience with Excel, CAD, data analysis tools, and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating processes, workflows, and equipment for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
- Collect, analyze, and report production data to support optimization and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to implement enhancements.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production issues and equipment performance.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, process flows, and SOPs.
