Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper's Spartanburg Manufacturing Site is seeking a Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement, eliminate waste, and improve productivity using lean methods. Based in Spartanburg, SC, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to optimize processes and reduce variability.

You will lead Kaizen events, monitor process data, and train frontline staff on lean principles while developing standard work and visual management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem‑solving skills, including experience with structured root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate with, and engage teams at all levels.
• Hands‑on, results‑oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and a bias for action.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify and eliminate the eight wastes of lean manufacturing.
• Lead and support structured problem‑solving initiatives using tools such as A3, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Facilitate and participate in Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and other lean initiatives to improve operational efficiency and process performance.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing process data to identify trends, reduce variability, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, throughput, and reliability.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of standard work, visual management systems, and other lean tools.
• Train and coach frontline team members on lean principles, problem‑solving techniques, and continuous improvement practices.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by engaging employees at all levels in identifying and implementing opportunities to improve plant performance.
