Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper in Spartanburg is seeking an Operations & Start-Up Manager to lead safe, efficient production while driving the start-up and ramp-up of new equipment. You will coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, R&D, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Warehousing across shifts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) and 3+ years of manufacturing leadership, with experience in Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, and Poka-Yoke.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with start-up/ramp-up experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Poka-Yoke, Visual Factory, and other CI methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Foster a proactive safety culture with a goal of zero incidents and ensure safety training and standards are met.
• Lead daily production operations and provide clear tactical direction to meet schedule, service, quality, and performance targets.
• Develop and execute CQV and ramp-up strategies with KPIs, milestones, and risk management.
• Lead ramp-up activities for new lines and equipment from installation to operational readiness.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to monitor performance, resolve issues, and escalate risks.
• Drive staffing optimization and develop a flexible, cross-trained workforce.
• Coach and develop high-performing teams and maintain employee engagement and morale.
