Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Project Engineer to support Alta Rounds production in Spartanburg, SC. You will lead practical problem solving on manufacturing equipment and production systems, partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, and other stakeholders to diagnose issues, validate improvements, and sustain results through standard work and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and hands-on experience improving equipment performance in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, FMEA/DFMEA, DOE, statistical analysis, or similar tools.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to work on the production floor during startup and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment performance, reliability, quality, and safety issues.
• Use data analysis and continuous improvement methods to define problems, test hypotheses, validate solutions, and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with plant teams, Maintenance, Engineering and OEMs to implement corrective actions that improve uptime, throughput, and stability.
• Support equipment improvement projects from problem definition through startup and sustainment.
• Define equipment performance criteria and validation plans for improvements or capital projects.
• Develop troubleshooting guides, standard work, and training materials.
