Job summary

The role leads production teams, optimizes processes, and ensures quality and safety on the shop floor. You will collaborate across engineering, supply chain, and QA to drive continuous improvement and cost control while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Train production leads and staff to foster accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement and maintain manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Oversee pack-out operations to ensure correct packing, quality standards, and on-time shipments.
• Manage packaging materials, crates and packing supplies with inventory control and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, program management, IT and QA to resolve shop-floor discrepancies.
• Enforce quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Manage budgets, control costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on the shop floor.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean methods (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Oversee pack-out equipment maintenance and calibration programs.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance (output, quality, efficiency).
