Job summary
Calqulate Metrics Ltd in the Freehold, NJ area is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced manufacturing site and champion continuous improvement.
You will coach a multi-shift team, drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and partner across maintenance, engineering, quality, planning and logistics to optimize safety, quality and throughput.
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of manufacturing leadership are preferred; local candidates only; strong bonus and benefits package.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related manufacturing discipline.
- 7+ years of operations manufacturing management experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, personal care, food or beverage manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience overseeing 24/7 operations and budget management.
- FDA regulated environment experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Directs 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, throughput, reliability and cost targets.
- Designs and deploys continuous improvement strategies using Lean and Six Sigma methods.
- Leads coaching and development of supervisors and team leads; manages hiring and onboarding.
- Collaborates with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning and logistics on site objectives.
- Evaluates capacity and capital investments; advises site leadership on goals and growth.
