Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc. in Freehold, NJ, seeks an Operations Manager to lead the site’s fast‑paced manufacturing team and champion continuous improvement.

You will mentor direct and indirect reports, drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and partner with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning and logistics to meet site goals. This role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in high‑volume or FDA‑regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Seven years of similar operations manufacturing management experience.
• Experience in FDA regulated environments.
• Lead 100+ reports including direct and indirect staff.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Lean initiatives experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, throughput, and cost targets.
• Designs and deploys continuous improvement programs using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Leads hiring, onboarding, coaching, and succession planning for site capability.
• Partners with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning, and logistics on site objectives and launches.
• Oversees budgets, labor planning, and capital investment recommendations.
