Job summary

Aero Industries Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure schedule adherence, safety, and quality. You will apply lean methods to optimize flow, mentor a multi-cell team, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include scheduling, resource coordination, KPI tracking, and cost control while maintaining a safe, engaged workforce in a mid-sized metal fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred in operations/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a supervisory role in manufacturing.
• Experience with lean tools: 5S, SQDC, Gemba.
• Experience with metal fabrication/trailer/trucking industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily production schedules aligned with demand and labor capacity.
• Coordinate resources and balance workflow across multiple work cells to avoid bottlenecks.
• Analyze production data and track KPIs (OTD, scrap, labor efficiency).
• Implement corrective actions to meet targets and enforce safety/quality standards.
• Manage overtime, consumables, and department costs; collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering for improvements.
