Job summary

Aero Industries, Inc. in Indianapolis seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, align production schedules with demand, and foster a safe, collaborative culture.

You will drive lean initiatives (5S, Gemba, SQDC), monitor KPIs, and manage costs while coaching a team of 10+ personnel toward operational excellence. Requirements include lean manufacturing experience, ERP/MRP proficiency, and a strong track record in reducing waste and improving on-time delivery in a metal

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred; HS with 5+ yrs supervisory and Lean experience acceptable.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools (SQDC, Gemba, 5S) preferred.
• Experience managing 10+ employees and mentoring new hires.
• Experience in metal fabrication/trailer/trucking industry preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily production schedules aligned with demand and labor capacity.
• Coordinate resources and workflow across multiple work cells to ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze production data and KPI trends, including scrap, labor efficiency, and equipment use.
• Implement corrective actions to meet targets and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering for PM and process improvements.
