Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a Lean Manufacturing Specialist II to drive continuous improvement across our production floors. You will implement process improvements, lead cost and lead-time reductions, and mentor teams in Kaizen and A3-style problem solving.

You’ll analyze equipment layouts, develop cost-saving analyses, and deliver weekly Lean training to engineers, supervisors, and operators, with regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in data manipulation and reporting tools including MS Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
• Structured problem-solving methodologies like PDCA, DMAIC, or 8D.
• Experience in value stream mapping and process improvement activities.
• Experience generating standardized weekly reports with clear metric visualization.
• Ability to document, train, and audit Lean procedures.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills for presentations to diverse management levels.
• Process-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solver capable of leading multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost, lead-time, inventory, and quality improvements.
• Evaluate machinery and facility layout and propose productivity/safety enhancements.
• Deliver weekly Lean training to engineers, supervisors, managers, and operators.
• Present Lean initiative updates to senior management twice weekly.
• Lead Kaizen events and organize quarterly recognition across shifts.
• Maintain Lean documentation on SharePoint and coordinate monthly Lean meetings.
