Johnson Controls is seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Engineer to lead lean manufacturing initiatives and establish stable, efficient production flows. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with focus on process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience designing, developing, or modifying manufacturing equipment and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of stable production flows using Lean principles and continuous improvement tools.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify waste, efficiency gains, and cost savings.
• Drive CI initiatives using Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, root cause analysis, and standard work.
• Develop and improve manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes to support production needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational performance.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure production readiness.
• Establish and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Monitor production performance metrics (OEE, yield, downtime) and implement corrective actions.
• Lead troubleshooting and long-term corrective actions; ensure safety and quality compliance.
