Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Lean Manager based in Richland, MI or Wadsworth, OH. You will lead Parker Lean System deployment, coach leadership, and drive continuous improvement across multiple sites.

The role involves significant travel to support projects and ensure sustained improvements. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering and at least 8 years in operations/continuous improvement with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required (Business or Engineering preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in Operations/Continuous Improvement/Lean in manufacturing.
• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, documentation, and deployment of Parker Lean System fundamentals to drive top-quartile performance.
• Coach site leadership on strategy deployment, data gathering, goal setting, and portfolio tracking.
• Coordinate kaizen events and sustainment activities across sites or divisions.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to completion with timelines, stakeholders, and benefits validation.
• Provide Lean coaching and training on PLS basics and advanced topics for operators and team leaders.
