Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an Operation Excellence Technician to support KAIZEN Fab shop and Manufacturing Engineering. You will drive continuous improvement, lead lean facilitation, and contribute to rapid improvement projects on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities include performing 5S, LPAs, audits, data collection, and coaching frontline operators on new standardized work. Strong problem solving and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Continuous Improvement and Lean Facilitation across departments.
• Collaborate in RCA sessions for root-cause analysis of floor issues.
• Conduct 5S, LPAs, and standardized-work audits to sustain improvements.
• Collect floor-cycle time data and prepare visual aids for deployment.
• Shadow and coach operators on new standardized work instructions.
