Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive measurable improvements across operations. You will co-own site strategy, develop and execute CI initiatives, and coach lean capabilities within the organization.

The role reports to the factory CI Leader and encompasses design, analysis, and deployment of process improvements across manufacturing and logistics. Qualified candidates will have a 4-year engineering degree, 3–7 years CI experience, and proven skills in

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3–7 years of Continuous Improvement experience.
• 2+ years of Project Management experience.
• Working knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with TPS/Lean fundamentals (5S, VSM, Poka-Yoke, etc.).
• ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Deploy SQDIP visual management boards and standard routines across all levels.
• Coach and implement the 0Dover OPEX model and Lean principles.
• Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and structured problem solving with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure manufacturing and logistics processes are integrated and efficient.
• Analyze production processes, schedules, and costs to enable data-driven decisions.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards (Power BI or similar).
• Collaborate with OT teams (MEs, tooling engineers, controls engineers).
