Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a capable manufacturing leader to direct plant teams, drive safety, quality, and on-time production, and sustain Lean practices.

You will coordinate daily start-up plans, Kaizen activities, cross-functional training, and performance boards, maintaining 6S and effective problem-solving to meet the Annual Operating Plan. This role emphasizes safety, process control, and continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Kaizen.
• Experience interpreting and enforcing safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct manufacturing teams.
• Drive SQDC and Lean responsiveness.
• Conduct daily huddle group meetings focused on area performance.
• Lead continuous improvement and sustain Standard Work, Built-in Quality, and small-lot production.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality.
• Lead group problem-solving teams and PDCA cycles.
• Maintain AOP-aligned performance and daily start-up plans.
• Coordinate material scheduling to prevent line shortages.
• Maintain 6S and operator PM checklists.
