Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a Lean Site Consultant to act as an internal Lean SME, driving problem solving and continuous improvement across departments. You will lead cross-functional teams to achieve sustainable and measurable results that enhance patient care, quality and safety.

The role supports the site’s Strategic Plan in collaboration with the Lean Transformation Office, coaching staff and leaders through Lean philosophy, A3 thinking, and change management to foster an

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Healthcare Administration or Sciences preferred.
• Lean Certification required.
• Six-Sigma and PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of a system-wide Lean process improvement strategy.
• Facilitate cross-functional improvement events and projects.
• Provide training and coaching on Lean concepts and A3 thinking.
• Develop and sustain leader standard work and a linked checking/learning system.
• Collaborate with executives and process owners to deploy the Lean Strategy.
