Job summary

Community Health Systems seeks a Manager of Process Improvement to drive Lean initiatives across the organization. The role involves consulting, coaching, and teaching leaders to create, implement, and sustain improvements that yield quality outcomes, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

You will partner with administrators, clinicians, and staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; Master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience; healthcare setting preferred.
• 3–5 years in process improvement, Lean methodologies, or healthcare operations.
• 2–4 years leading process improvements focused on value stream mapping, rapid improvement events, metrics analysis, and financial outcomes.
• 1–3 years in data analytics, data visualization, or AI-related applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coaches leaders on Lean and process improvement techniques across clinical and operational areas.
• Builds collaborative relationships with corporate, hospital staff, and physicians to drive quality and efficiency.
• Defines, measures, and analyzes performance metrics to track impact of improvements.
• Acts as internal consultant to achieve quality, revenue, and operational goals via continuous improvement.
• Supports implementing a standardized improvement system across routine practices.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies.
