Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks an Operational Excellence Specialist to drive process and performance improvement across the enterprise. You will lead Lean and Six Sigma projects focused on clinical outcomes, patient safety, cost reduction, and patient experience.

Under supervision, you will gather and analyze data, coordinate improvement events, and collaborate with hospitals and health staff to promote value-based care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Public Health, Business Administration, Nursing, IT, or related).
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare or business settings with process/performance improvement focus.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification within 1 year; Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, and analyze data for assigned process-improvement projects.
• Lead small teams using Lean and Six Sigma tools to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Coordinate performance-improvement events under moderate supervision and support collaboration with hospitals and health staff.
