Job summary

Brodie League is hiring a League Manager to run a location end-to-end in Essex and Union Counties, NJ. You will lead game nights, manage a floor crew, and own payroll, scheduling, league health, and captain communication, partnering with a District Manager to grow the league.

The role requires strong leadership, on-site presence, and a deep connection to basketball communities. Compensation is $60,000–$80,000 USD annually, plus bonus and commission, with evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading people in relevant settings.
• Ownership of a recurring program or season.
• Warmth and presence to welcome athletes and build community.
• Strong tie to basketball and local community networks.
• Fully committed to a full-time role with evenings/weekends.
• Local, on-site work in assigned markets.
• Experience with CRM, payroll, timesheets or scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead your floor crew of 10–15 staff (up to 20 at peak) and ensure brand standards.
• Run game night to the Brodie Standard with on-time starts and live streaming.
• Own athlete experience through captain interactions and timely responses.
• Hit retention and growth targets via outreach and referrals.
• Plan and run the season: schedules, playoffs, and all-star events.
• Handle admin tasks: timesheets and payroll, reporting within set timelines.
• Maintain visibility in CRM and weekly check-ins, plan ahead when registrations lag.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to hire/train staff and scale operations.
