Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) seeks a Leader in Training (LIT) to join our Maryland dispensary leadership team. You will rotate through critical functions, gaining expertise to become Assistant General Manager, while supporting operations, experience, and people development.

You will supervise daily operations, communicate priorities to staff, and help optimize the customer journey, ensuring compliance and high standards across store activities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Cannabis experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience preferred.
• Meet scheduling and availability requirements (including varying shifts).
• Must pass background checks and have valid driver’s license or state ID.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and regulations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels and communicate actions with management.
• Oversee deliveries, transfers, and vault inventory accuracy.
• Lead team members to execute programs and promotions and optimize the customer journey.
• Demonstrate proper cash handling and oversee cash maintenance.
• Provide active supervision during Leader On Duty shifts and oversee omni-channel experiences.
• Participate in onboarding and training of new team members and scheduling duties.
