Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is seeking a Leader in Training to join the dispensary leadership team in Illinois. You will rotate through operations, experience, and people functions, supervising daily activities and guiding staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The role provides a fast-track to growth and a developmental path toward Assistant General Manager, with emphasis on compliance, customer journey optimization, and team leadership.

Qualifications

• At least three years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Cannabis experience preferred
• Inventory control experience preferred
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (varying shifts incl. mornings, days, nights, weekends)
• Must have reliable attendance
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must pass background checks
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
• Understand Green Thumb policies and cannabis laws
• Prior cannabis experience not required

Responsibilities

• Supervise dispensary operations and communicate priorities to the team.
• Oversee daily inventory, deliveries, and vault accuracy.
• Lead team members in executing programs and in-store promotions.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and behavior.
• Manage scheduling and ensure adequate floor coverage during shifts.
• Ensure a seamless omni-channel customer experience across in-store, drive-thru, curbside and delivery.
