Job summary

Encore invites new graduates to join the National College Leadership Program (NCLP). After successful completion of the 5-month Manager in Training, you are prepared for placement as an Operations Manager, Associate Producer, Director of Events, or Venue Sales Manager across Encore’s venues.

The program offers rotations in Technical, Operations, and Sales, plus certifications through Encore University Academies in Leadership, Technical, Operations, Sales, and Service.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; preference for Hospitality, Business/Management, Communications, Event Management, Theater, or related field.
• At least 1 year of related professional work experience or a combination of employment/internships; management/operations/hospitality experience is a plus.
• Strong interest in a management career with advancement opportunities and promotion.
• Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills.
• Effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus.
• Technical aptitude demonstrated through interest in new technology.
• Ability to work at a hotel location within major metro markets; willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• When placed in an Operations Manager role, manage floor operations to achieve service excellence and supervise staff.
• When placed in a Sales Manager role, guide customers through event experiences and maximize revenue from the client base.
• Participate in rotations and hands-on training; learn from field leaders and instructors.
