Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager in a fast-paced automotive environment. You will perform oil changes and basic car care while learning leadership to eventually run a shop. This hands-on role blends technician work with people management and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience
• Ability to maneuver in a 3’ deep pit under cars
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-offs and basic services with speed and accuracy
• Wash windshields, check tire pressure and assist customers in choosing services
• Process payments and ensure customers leave satisfied
• Keep the shop clean, restock inventory and maintain facilities
• Oversee store operations when the Shop Manager is away, including opening/closing and inventory checks
• Set a positive example through attitude and work ethic without HR duties
