Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help run daily operations, develop the team, and deliver fast, friendly customer service. You’ll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, guiding workflow and maintaining shop safety and efficiency.

We provide paid, hands-on training to learn the Take 5 standards. Automotive experience is valued but not required. This role offers growth from shop duties into leadership as you contribute to a high‑volume service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following and maintaining safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills for directing, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and solutions-focused during busy periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Lead as Manager on Duty when needed and ensure safe, efficient service.
• Model friendly customer service and address customer needs professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing procedures and safety standards.
• Help identify opportunities for shop performance improvements and assume extra leadership duties.
