Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Leader in Training to join our dispensary leadership team in New York. This role rotates through operations, experience, and people functions to develop subject matter expertise and prepare for the Assistant General Manager position.

The LIT will supervise daily operations, mentor staff, and optimize the customer journey across in-store, drive-thru, curbside, and delivery channels. Training emphasizes compliance, inventory control, and excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• At least three years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Cannabis experience preferred
• Must understand cannabis laws, rules and regulations and stay current with industry changes.

Responsibilities

• Support management in overseeing the execution of all dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of products and communicating inventory action items with management.
• Oversee the intake and verification of deliveries, transfers, and inventory management, ensuring accuracy within the vault.
• Lead team members to effectively execute programs, initiatives, and regionalized in-store promotions.
• Demonstrate proper cash handling, including processing payments, discount application, and cash maintenance.
