Job summary

American Public Media Group is seeking an Individual Giving Manager to lead a portfolio of 600 Leadership Circle members contributing $1,200–$9,999 annually. This role drives engagement, stewardship, and revenue growth through targeted communications and cross-department collaboration.

You will partner with Philanthropic Development, Membership, and Content teams to create a seamless donor journey, foster equity, and move donors toward higher levels of support. Hybrid work in St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in non-profit fundraising or related fields: political fundraising, advocacy, direct sales, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 600 Leadership Circle members giving $1,200–9,999 annually.
• Develop and implement communication, stewardship, and engagement strategies to grow revenue and meet annual goals.
• Cultivate donor relationships in person, over the phone, via email and direct mail.
• Coordinate strategic efforts with Major and Midlevel Giving team for LC members’ experience.
• Serve as primary contact for new $1,200–9,999 donors and respond to inquiries.
• Make timely thank you calls to donors at LC level.
• Collaborate with other teams to tailor donor stewardship to LC member needs.
• Contribute to Membership drives and events as part of the fundraising team.
• Represent the organization professionally in donor interactions and cultivation visits.
