Job summary

Partners In Health is seeking an Associate Development Officer, Leadership Giving, to cultivate, steward, and solicit a portfolio of mid-level donors ($1,000–$25,000 annually). Reporting to the Director of Leadership Giving, you will design personalized communications and solicitations to increase retention and upgrade donors into the major gifts program.

You will collaborate with the Leadership Giving, Major Gifts, Planned Giving, and Donor Engagement teams, and coordinate with country sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 2–3 years in nonprofit fundraising.
• Proven donor solicitation and stewardship experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong MS Office and CRM skills; Salesforce experience a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to travel 10–20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dynamic portfolio of mid-level donors by designing and executing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to enhance retention and grow revenue.
• Build a strong pipeline for the major gifts team by qualifying, soliciting, and upgrading donors.
• Collaborate with planned giving to increase legacy society members.
• Coordinate outreach with donor engagement, annual giving, and planned giving teams.
• Draft and send updates via email, mail and phone to keep donors connected to PIH's work.
• Maintain donor data in Salesforce and produce personalized communications materials.
