As a Leader in Training, you will build leadership skills while consistently demonstrating our core values, embracing the Chick-fil-A culture, and having a servant’s heart. In this role, you will be responsible for inspiring and guiding our Team Members to do the same.

You must have a passion for people and for serving others, a strong character, initiative, and a sense of urgency at all times. Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. Leaders are expected to run the shift effectively and to coach and develop team members. Most importantly, Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

The Leader in Training for West Springfield would begin their training at our Chicopee location, learning all the job responsibilities through an accelerated training and development plan, and, with demonstrated performance and competence, be relocated to the West Springfield location opening in Fall 2026.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

• Participating operationally in day‑to‑day activities in a high‑volume, fast‑paced Restaurant


• Offer immediate and respectful responses to guests' needs


• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team


• Be a friendly, encouraging team player


• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder


• Count drawers and finalize the day


• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
