Job summary

YMCA of the Catawba Valley is seeking a School Age Program Coordinator to oversee before/after/summer activities, support staff, and ensure grant-based initiatives are delivered effectively.

The role emphasizes program delivery, documentation, and compliance with state/sanitation rules, with opportunities for professional development and leadership within a values-driven organization.

Qualifications

• This role requires an Associate’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred; EDU 119 and BSAC required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in program coordination or management, preferably in youth development or educational setting.
• Experience with grant-funded programs and compliance is highly preferred.

• Coordinate and schedule program events, activities, and sessions
• Ensure activities align with grant objectives and organizational goals
